Columbia Heights will hold its 1st Annual Junk and Jam on Saturday, September 23, 2017. This day-long event will begin at 10:00 AM with a community-wide, volunteer yard sale. Harriet Tubman Elementary School will provide a donation box at each location. You may donate what you wish from what you sell.

Afterwards, please join your neighbors in a live music and community engagement event at the Civic Plaza in the heart of Columbia Heights from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  

The Cosmic Music Collective

Cosmic Music Collective a galactic gathering of musicians that share a love for music, outer space, and science fiction. Their music can best be described as an acoustic indie rock that’s retro-futuristic.

This is a great chance to clean out your closets, build a greater sense of community, and improve public safety as residents get to know their neighbors!

Donations will go towards providing nutritional and educational benefits to the children of Harriet Tubman Elementary School.
