Benefitting Harriet Tubman Elementary School

Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will hold its 1st Annual Junk and Jam on Saturday, September 23, 2017, and we are looking towards our local businesses for support either through an in-kind donation or through a sponsorship. Your help is critical to supporting our families – please consider supporting Harriet Tubman Elementary School this year.

The participation of our community and businesses like yours will be key in helping support our work. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience for more information on financial donations, and we would be happy to discuss in-kind donations as well. Our organization and event are completely volunteer-driven so each dollar we raise will go directly to where it is needed most – our kids and teachers.

This event promotes live music and volunteer neighborhood yard sales to raise funds for your local elementary school and will be promoted via social media, a dedicated website and through direct mailed postcards throughout the area. Our key objective is to highlight the role Harriet Tubman Elementary School plays in our community and to provide funds for significant student needs at the school.

The Harriet Tubman Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)(3), and a donation receipt will be provided.

The following pledge rewards are offered while space is available:

Why Sponsor with Us?

As a Title 1 school with a diverse population and limited means, we rely on this event as one of our main fundraisers to help support our children and teachers.  The PTO’s top goals are to ensure that all students have the opportunity, nutrition and means to fully engage in the educational experience regardless of student family income levels.

We expect to have well over 250 attendees who take pride in supporting their local school and businesses. Your contribution will be widely acknowledged through the event program and all school social media outlets.
